About Us
Thrissur lies at the heart of Kerala, and in many ways, it exacerbates Kerala’s own dynamic in cultural integrity. Not only has it been a major point of contact among Kerala’s own ethnic populations today, but its historical significance lies in being the first point of contact between India and various different cultures across the globe from the French, Dutch, British, Portuguese, and so many more. Its festivals, like the Thrissur Pooram, attract millions to its streets, and its academic institutions are the most sought out in the state, bringing about thousands of students both in their preparations for higher education and the very colleges they wish to become a part of.
Jubilee Mission Medical College & Research Institute stands out among Thrissur’s Medical establishments, despite its stature as a private institute. Its motto of ‘Service with love’ exudes through its holistic approach in providing healthcare accessible to even those at the lowest rungs of society. The hospital is one of the oldest medical facilities to exist in Thrissur from its inception in 1951 as a small dispensary, to now have grown into one among Kerala’s largest and best medical centers and research institutions. Today, it boasts of a massive faculty of over 3,800 with an official bed strength of 1,750 and an innumerable volume of added support staff. It has been 19 years since the Medical College commenced and its influence in producing prominent medical professionals and nurturing the future of India’s medical backbone is undeniable.
JUBICON
JUBICON is an avid integration of various facets of medical life: The thirst for knowledge, the tenacity to explore, blending creativity into academic progression, and re-engineering the manner with which students function from simple readers into scientific thinkers. JUBICON facilitates students to foray into unfathomed territories and broaden their horizons. The future remains a focus that develops from various aspects of student life. Each fraction that builds into the whole takes form in different shapes, and such structures were meant to be rediscovered through the initiative undertaken by our various clubs. By truly incorporating such ideals, we in Jubilee extend our invitation towards all those ready to partake in our celebration of the mind and heart – where both academics and arts truly blend.

JUBILEE QUEST
Jubilee Quest functions as JMMC’s frontrunner in terms of academic progression, exploring career pathways, and facilitating students into research. As its name suggests, such an undertaking is a quest taken upon by the students of Jubilee, done in coordination with our faculty members who assist students through guidance or mentorship. Despite its more nascent origin compared to other clubs in Jubilee, it stands in prominence due to its academic importance, not just for student research alone, but reshaping the future of medical research outlook.
JUBILEE TECHIES
Jubilee Techies is quite easily its oldest club, and its most vital. Every club is interlinked, but none as much as the techies. Every event whether conducted by a club or the council is fundamentally constructed upon the technological backing they provide. From posters, digital art, Jubilee’s own campus radio, and so much more, the techies are Jubilee’s student backbone.
KANAL
Kanal as its name suggests – an ember upon which a student’s imagination ignites. It serves as a platform for student literary development, ideas of progression, discussion on philosophies, and a collusion of logical thinking fused with an artistic variant. A famous example of their work is ‘ഒച്ച്’, a magazine that earned the Malayala Manorama’s Editor’s Trophy for Best Cover Design in 2021.
NAVARASA
NaVaRaSa promotes Kerala’s natural pulse- Nruthham, Vaadhyam, Rasam, Swaram. Such emotions bleed into the stage, where skills expressed in terms of drama, skits, monoacts, ganamelas, etc, gets incorporated into representing our heritage.
ASHRAYA
Ashraya Charitable Society is Jubilee Missions’ student-run NGO that functions to provide assistance to those patients most desperately in need of help. Its workforce consists of 4 unique clubs, each with an independent function and criteria for action. Patient helpline assesses patient status and helps with financial woes, the blood blank team assists in coordinating the procurement of blood during critical requests. To add on, two emergency crisis management teams of a drug and dress bank exist to serve as a mechanism to assist those estranged.
