Health Advocacy Competition

OneHealth in Focus

The competition serves as a vibrant arena where the passion and vision of medical students converge to advocate for critical health issues. Participants are tasked with devising impactful advocacy strategies, and effectively communicating their message to diverse audiences. Through this competition, medical students develop essential advocacy skills that are integral to their roles as future healthcare leaders.

Selected ideas are to be presented in the form of a roleplay.

Key Highlights:

  1. Advocacy Strategy Development: Medical students craft comprehensive advocacy strategies that encompass various facets, including research, community engagement, policy analysis, and creative communication methods. These strategies become blueprints for driving change.
  2. Creative Communication: Effective advocacy relies on clear and compelling communication. Participants utilize a range of mediums, from social media campaigns and documentaries to interactive workshops and public events, to engage diverse audiences.
  3. Collaboration and Networking: Participants have the opportunity to collaborate with like-minded peers who share a passion for healthcare advocacy. This collaboration fosters a sense of community and encourages the exchange of ideas and strategies.
